SSD Teen Ballet students will follow the Royal Academy of Dance Graded system, progressing through the levels and increasing their dance vocabulary.

The Graded syllabus combines Classical Ballet Technique (the main aspect to classes) as well as the addition of character and free movement styles. There is a strong focus on movement quality, dynamics, musicality, technique and expression. The study of ballet improves posture, general health and coordinations whilst affording the opportunity for students to express and communicate through music and movement.

Note that parents aren't permitted to wait inside the room/studio when the class is taking place and at the moment, students are not being enrolled to examinations.
